I have modified the tstorder.rpt file in Crystal Reports to include a barcode with the Order ID included. I can print this label (2.25" x 1.25") from my Dymo label printer, scan the barcode and everything prints and scans as it should. When I load this file into Centricity - keeping the tstorder.rpt filename - I pull up an order (the same one that prints fine from CR) and preview it and the preview is totally off (portrait view though it should be landscape), yet it prints in landscape orientation - but only the left half of the label prints (and previews). It's a bit difficult to explain but I think I've successfully added an image.
I've worked with one of the CPS VARs and they had no solution other than to possibly change the text direction and see if it all showed in the preview and still printed correctly. I tried that but it did not make a difference. I've looked around with various key terms (barcode/dymo/label) but haven't seen this exact issue described and nothing in the other posts somewhat similar have led me in a successful direction. I'm hoping someone here may have an idea. Any thoughts?
I'm shooting from the hip on this one, but here's something I've done with other software in the past to make it work:
Try setting the paper size to a custom size - portrait but 2.25 x 1.25. I'm not sure if you need to do this in the crystal report or inside of CPS. That way you can fool it into printing on a landscape page in portrait.
Thank you for the suggestion but I've actually played around with what I think are all the possible combinations of the different settings. I'm going to try again as it's the only thing I can think of to try and make this work, but I'm also going to try a fit everything onto the addlbs.rpt as that is apparently the only mailing label that CPS actually supports. We'll see what ends up working and I'll try to keep this thread as updated as possible.
When you say loaded into Centricity did that also include copying the modified tstorder.rpt file to the CRWRPTS folder on the Terminal Server?

Yes.
