Has anyone been successful in adding information to the Orders Details tab in the instructions box and pushing this information to the PM like billing, etc.? I am curious if it works at all for you and if you had to do any HL7 modifications or changes to LinkLogic. Thank you in advance!
Here's the NTE segments of an ORM message with both clinical instructions and admin comments. IIRC, I believe that there is no way to know for sure if the first NTE segment contains clinical instructions or admin comments unless you have both NTE segments.
NTE|1||clinical instructions
NTE|2||test coord > admin comments

What I was trying to say in probably too few words is that, if a user adds an admin comment, but not a clinical instruction, the admin comment with be in the first (and only) NTE segment.
If I'm correct, you can't know whether an NTE segment is a clinical instruction or admin comment unless the user populated both fields. I could be wrong on that though. It's a vague memory now.
