In EMR 9.5, some providers' past appointments are not showing up. I have looked through all Settings and Prefernces etc but do not see any options etc. Any ideas?
Where and how are you looking for them?
For instance:
(1) With a Crystal Report, or other inquiry
(2) While in a patient record, clicking for appts then the view appts button
(3) Other...
And, from where do the appt records come from? A separate scheduling program?
Hi Joseph,
Looking for them in EMR under the Appts tab. The appts in EMR 9.5 flow in from Group Management.
Do you have the ability to build a Crystal Reports query, and verify?
Probably try the RPTAPPT table first.
Also, in the EMR, make sure the checkboxes are set for all four types of appts - scheduled, canceled, no show, completed.
There are other things that could also possibly be part of this - do you use multiple location codes, do you have anything configured confidential, etc...
There are only two checkboxes in EMR: No Show and Inactive patients....I looked for these checkboxes or any options that showed completed appts etc. Nothing. No need to use Crystal because I already see those missing appts in GE Group Management, so they do exist. Just not showing in EMR. Thanks Joseph.
Try going into the System Setup area.
Go - Setup - Preferences
then choose the user name
Click on the Appointments folder (top choice, I think)
Then click on default view.
In there, you will see two boxes:
show canceled appts
show no show appts
Make sure those are both checked.
Yes I did that. Even thoug, the missing appts are neither canceled nor no show. They were completed.
There are other things that could also possibly be part of this – do you use multiple location codes, do you have anything configured confidential, etc…
Long shot, but is the problem that you cannot view past appointments in the schedule module?
