Anyone upgraded to the 7.0.2 version of the patient portal? Are there differences between this version and 6.4.15? Any information you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Kim,
We are on 7.0.2 and there are several differences. The entire admin section has been redesigned to appear more modern(easier to read). There is also a new feature in secure messaging which will indicate if an email address you are sending to is direct, linked to the portal, or unlinked. This is a great feature which we love.
Other new features include:
1. An indicator on the "Images" page which will show the number of pages on which an image is being used.
2. You now have the ability to customize enrollment messages to patients.
3. Better theme editing
These are just a few. I definitely think it was worth the move.

We have been using 7.0.2 for around 4 months and it has been working great. The majority of the changes are in the admin console area. The UI has had a complete overhaul. Other than that there have been a lot of bug fixes and some other small improvements. Here is a link to the release notes with details on all the changes.

Are you referring to the Ktyptic/Surescripts Portal? And, how to know what version you are running?

Can this upgrade be done by the end user? From 6.4 to 7.0.2.
