I'm interested in hearing whether there is a patient tracking tool that is being used by anyone that displays the current location of the patient within their practice. Information that would be nice to display: Patient Name, Patient Status (arrived, room location, xray, mri, etc), Provider Name, Room, etc

Summit Software offers such a product: Schedule Tracker. I used it at a previous company.

We use Patient Flow Tracker from Health Systems. It provides a number of features and metrics that our providers like.
