I was wondering if anyone had a report they would be will to share that tracks patient waiting times. We are wanting to see the average wait time per provider to improve patient satisfaction.
Are you using the appointment status to track the patient through the office?
We have a report like this, but whether or not it will apply to you depends on your workflow. Our report starts the clock when the patient is arrived, based on an entry in the ActivityLog table where Value2 = 'Arrived'. We can look to the same table for a completed record.
If you want to know how much time has elapsed from the arrival time to when the patient is roomed, for example, you're going to need an event you can look at. So what happens in your workflow when the patient is roomed?

Right now we mark the appointment as arrived then put in room and completed when they check out. We're wanting to find the average amount of time a patient spends in the office from arrived to completed.
