We are having some strange events happening in our CPS environment. We have users in the system mostly our CRNP. Rights keep changing. No one in the system and the rights are changed..
They are stamped with our Admin Account when changes are made. But that account is used by CPS only and the IT group only has the password..
We are not sure why or who is changing the environment. But we need it to stop. These are the application accessing our CPS - ESM, Patient Portal, Secure Messaging, Virtualofficeware UDS, Visualutions Visdocs. Docutrack.
Has anyone else witnessed this behavior in CPS 12?

We had permissions change a while back and it took us a while to determine how it was happening. This is what we found in our situation:
At the time we were going through each user and updating the address. Working from Administration-->System-->User and Resource Management-->Users-->User Management. After the address was changed for one user I would click the button for 'Next Resource' at which time it would prompt me to save changes and I would click 'Yes'. For whatever reason that workflow causes those user permissions to carry over and apply to the next resource.
It created quite a mess for us to clean up. The users at the bottom of our list ended up having permissions for everything.
So if you have been using that 'Next Resource' button maybe your problem is stemming from there as well?
