In CPS 10, there is a preference option to "Print Dx on Rx". From the CPS help library:
In Pt. Dx, check whether to print the associated problem or diagnosisdia (indication) on the printed prescription. This option is only available with printed prescriptions.
I have been unable to make this work-I do not see anyway to associate a problem or diagnosis to an Rx. We have a Pain Management dept that is getting calls from pharmacies requesting this info be included on narcotic Rx's. If it works, that would be great for us. Right now, we have to enter the dx in the "note to pharmacy" field on the RX- not so great. Does anyone know if this works,am I missing a step, or should I submit a ticket to GE? Thanks in advance...
When you enter the medications, there is a radial button the left that says Alrgs, Meds, Probs.
Select Probs and you will get a list below it with all of the problems in the patient problem list. Select the problem for the medicine and that will associate the problem to the medicine.
Then when printed, it will have the problem listed on the prescription.
Thank you so much! (feel pretty silly for not seeing that!)
