Purging Inactive or Deceased patients from CEMR?

We are on CEMR 9.8.13. Is it possible to purge inactive or deceased pts from the EMR? In evaluating our cyber-liability coverage needs, purging the system will significantly reduce our exposure. Any help would be appreciated.
