We will be upgrading to CPS 12 soon. I have been testing the new problem search in CPS 12. I noticed that when I type Diabetes in the search screen it gives me several folders to choose from then from there you may have to choose another folder before you are given a list of diabetes diagnoses. I know that you can use a custom list, but there are going to be times when the custom lists may not be used especially in the beginning when we are still training users on this. It seems like this is taking three times as long to find a problem as using the Reference List.
Any suggestions on quick problem searches? Is everyone just using and maintaining custom lists?
Thanks!
Rebecca Higdon
Hi Rebecca,
The problem search in CPS12 is only searching the first word not the entire search field. In service patch 3 for CPS12 this is surpose to be fixed.

CPS12 offers a Smart List that is at the very top of the list of custom problems lists ( in box " Using" - scroll to the top and * Smart List is the first one). This should give you what you need and not a bunch of folders.
