I am being told by our Quality Control person and laboratory, we need to have the reference ranges on all lab results. If we get a lab from our interface, the range pulls into the flowsheet. If we manually enter a result using the CCC forms, the value shows on the flowsheet but no reference range. Does anyone know if there's a way to hard code the reference ranges on those results?
We have created a Flowsheet with hard coded range on label and we enter labs manually using Flowsheet edit to add.
Where do you see the ranges?
On a flowsheet label for example :ACE (12-68 units/L) (units/L)
We use and have customized the Lab Entry CCC's there is 3 of them. These do have the ranges and the ability to update/change the ranges.
Thank you for the info. We are using CCC forms but I didn't know there was a spot for these ranges to be added. I'll take a look.
Thank you!
Cliff,
Can you send me a copy of your lab letter that you guys use?
