A few months back we started experiencing an extreme lag when printing referral orders in Centricity EMR 9.5. It can take up to two minutes for the order to print during which the EMR appears frozen. This only occurs in our Citrix environment. It only happens when the user prints a referral order. Tests and Services print just fine. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Enviroment is Citrix XenApp 5, Windows 2008 R2. Various printer models and drivers.
We have started experiencing this. Did you ever resolve this issue?
Unfortunatley not. We are applying SvcPk4 this weekend however I do not believe that will resolve anything. However, at least I'll be able to re-open my support ticket with GE
I wish you luck
We had similar issues (which would come & go) in the past on SP1 Oracle with tests or referrals. It got better with SP3 and by adding a bunch more Citrix servers.
We've had slow printing when the computers/servers in question faced a network bottleneck.
The computer, the Citrix server, and the server where the reports (Go-setup-settings-Reports-reports) ... can all be different servers. We once found that between the PC and the Citrix server was fast, but the link to the server holding the reports had a bottleneck.
Just my 2 cents.
do you have the EMR with the Referrals RPT installed in all citrix Xenapp Server?
or is the EMR streaming from one single server to the rest?
i had this issue but resolved by installing EMR in all the servers, the only issue i encounter is with one of the server which had the altnaddress command because this server is server citrix for the extra net. But resolved this by publishing 2 EMR 1 for internal use and another for external use and filtering the view. The internal servers Filter the content that the external server has published.
All server have the EMR and the RPT file is installed on all client, we haven't encounter any slowdown
by the way we enable this in our citrix server Registry too
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Citrix\wfshell\TWI]
"SeamlessFlags"=dword:00000004
let me know how it worked for you guys.
