Just received a call from one of our providers stating that he had unintentionally put an alert on a patient's chart. When he went to try and remove the alert, it wouldn't let him remove it stating he didn't have access to remove another user's alert. He had it attached to another user so is that why it wouldn't let him remove it/change it even though he was the one who sent it to her? He doesn't have security to do any of the Change/Hide/Remove other users' alerts. I have always thought that meant removing flags/alerts that other people sent/created. He said it has always been that way but it's the first I have heard of this happening.

I think we have had this issue and found it need to be removed by the person who created it.
That's just it, the user that created the flag wasn't able to remove it.
