We recently went live with EMR 9.5. We are in the state of FL and the crystal report for RX in the state on a full sheet of paper.
Before I started with the company, our RX printers were setup to simply shrink the RX to 65% of original from within the print drivers setting. (it prints on a 1/4 sheet of paper) I was looking at replacing our aging RX printers because of resizing issues and I am unable to find a printer that can print it properly.
I was wondering if there is anyone else that has either modified the crystal report to shrink the size of the RX or possibly has found another way to print them on smaller sheets of paper. It is nearly 4x the cost per page to start printing 8.5x11 and the image that it prints looks fine scaled down to 4.25x5.5. We would also be ok if we could print them on half sheets.
We use a crystal report that prints up to 4 scripts per (standard letter sized) page. I've modified it from some older report pres***4up.rpt?
Which printers are you using? We use the Star Microns TSP800, or whatever series they have - I love them. Best printer I've ever bought.
