Hello CHUG community,
We are starting to see SNOMED code appearing in the orders module in CEMR after upgrading to ccc v9. This did not use to happen prior to ccc v9, so I am wondering if there is any one on this forum experiencing this issue. Also, any idea on how to stop the SNOMED codes from going to the orders module. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you
I believe that is due to some of the changes that they made in the clinical kits of CCC v9. One of the orders lists it imports have the SNOMED codes included in it.
Now when you say it is going to the orders module, are you talking about the orders in the chart side or is it flowing over to the PM system?
Thank you Ernie for replying back. It is going to the order module in the CEMR, not the PM. WE only have the PM version the Centricyt and we use McMesson for PM. Please let me know if there is any way to stop snomed from going to the order module.
Thank again
SNOMEDs are how certain of the MU CQR Measures get counted. For those, you need the SNOMED to remain within Orders.
So far, we're only using a single SNOMED as the trigger of a patient to the denominator; CCC 9.0 supports more.
In short, if you are reporting on the given measure, you have to keep the SNOMED.
I think the SNOMED code you are referring to are related to PQRS, you can turn these off if you are not using them. Look under you CLINICFOLDERNAME \ CCCQE-user-edit-cond-Action there should be a yes or no to enable / disable.

The SNOMED code appears in orders when an office visit is appended. How will this affect MU numbers? Should it be removed from orders when it's an appended document?
Steph,
Where exactly can I find this? I'm not quite sure where you are trying to guide us. thanks
