GE informed us that we can experience issues with growth charts, dosing calculators and the info button if we use IE 11 and plan on upgrading to SP 13, specifically as it relates to MU.
Has anyone upgraded to SP 13 with IE 11? We cannot roll it back because we have other systems that depend on it.
Unfortunately you are pretty much out of luck. We have one client in the same boat where its choose between CPS or another system. Those items listed won't work right with IE11. This is just another fine example of GE's lack of planning (or caring about their customers) and execution as the end of life for anything below IE11 was made public by MS years ago.
In GE's defense here, Microsoft created this situation by changing up the support date for IE8, IE9, and IE10. IE10 was supposed to be supported for much longer than it ultimately was. Our game plan was originally based on the first support timetable from Microsoft. Now we are still using an unsupported browser and that doesn't make me happy. It makes me liable and I have no recourse as long as IE11 is unsupported by any one of my many vendors. Until very recently I have had problems with IE11 and certain websites of insurance companies and at least one government website.
If there is a lesson here to be learned by GE, that would be to embrace a more "standards based" browser like Mozilla Firefox or even Google Chrome. IE is too proprietary and we are at the mercy of Microsoft.

This issue is not limited to SP13...as best I can remember, this has been an issue with every version of CPS 12.0.X.
