Are there any early adopters out there on SP11 that is willing to share their experiences?
not here. i called support to see why they were offering free services to perform the upgrade and that we have always done upgrades on our own without issue.
They said they saw "weird" issues when installing the patch at the early release sites.... gives me lots of confidence....
We upgraded our test environment Friday, install looks successful except a few unplublished notifications but jboss is not working now, so it is not smooth. Currently working with Support to resolve but doesnt seem like level 2 is aware, may be the install group does?
Anyone else successfully install? Below is our message when trying to lauch client.
CPS doesn't run and the net browser shows the following massage.

Would be nice if they'd document the "weird" issues and what they are supposedly doing to get around them. I'm not eager to let some guy who knows nothing about our multi database environment with 5-10 different bolt-on products (that we'd rather not pay for or manage ) go near our servers. I have a huge checklist just for myself to remember everything that needs to be done. That and I'm sure they'd probably want to do it during regular business hours or charge us a bunch of money.
We are actually getting GE to do our upgrade even though we tried upgrading to test. It is free and after hours so if you must do it before end of the year you may want to take them up on the offer. After what we saw in test this is the only way we would do it unless they released something else that works. I figure they have to make sure it is working versus me trying to resolve through support.
Also in what others are experiencing.
I did my test server yesterday and had no problems besides the usual ones I seem to have in my test environment but I got through them. But heck if GE would be willing to do it for free then that is almost a no brainer for production.
By the way, I usually go to add/remove programs and uninstall jboss, then deleting the directory which is left behind. This time, I did not see an entry in add/remove programs. Does anyone know if the server configurator does this for you? It worked fine but I have always done it that way due to issues which tend to pop up if you don't

We uploaded SP11 into our test system a couple of days ago. We had no issues with the upgrade, but we are finding that the list of fixed issues especially regarding ICD-10 descriptions are not fixed at all. Z98.89 other specified postprocedural state still has suture removal as an option. We also noticed that the growth charts are still showing 0-24 months on patients 25 to 36 months. We have a long list of items that are supposedly fix that are not. Unfortunately we cannot test our CQR mapping and fear that those issues are not fixed either. We did notify GE of these "fixes" not being fixed and were told " All the items listed in the SPR Sorted by Service Pack tab are defects that have been resolved. If still encountering an issue with one of the defects listed as resolved. Please document the workflow and SPR# and submit a Service Request into support". GE will be getting many Service Requests today.
We have good news. We figured out out cloud based search feature was not enabled. We enabled this item and now are finding the correct descriptions for the ICD-10 codes. We are still experiencing other issues and are trying to gather all information before submitting a ticket to support.
FYI, there is going to be a patch for SP11 very soon. That will likely fix some of the reported issues. It was described to me as a "client only" patch but I am not sure if you can push it with jobs.txt or not.
When are they supporting MSI deployment again? 12.1...er 12.2 I guess, eh?

Mike, I think the server configurator will upgrade but it cannot uninstall for you. It can remove websites but add remove programs is still the place to go to remove JBOSS completely.
Completed the upgrade in our test environment last week. So far so good, no issues on the install. Hardest part for us is getting our testers to go through and make sure everything still works the same in our workflows.
Actually doing that this time also. Be the first time in 9 years that I have let GE do an upgrade but couldnt resist a free after hours upgrade.
I spoke with a GE installer and he mentioned that the add/remove jboss is no longer an option since SP10. He says that he hasn't had a failure yet with the server configurator. There is a Powershell script somewhere in the install directory which you can use if you really want or need to uninstall of the Jboss program.
It worked for me without the manual uninstall. It did delete my source folder which makes me think that maybe it is doing more than just an upgrade. I don't know. This seems like a good thing so I hope it stays with the upgrade process.

On the EMR Oracle side, I've installed SP11 (and the earlier LA builds) without any issue. The installs and Server Configurators worked the same as with SP10 and prior versions.
Is it required that all EMR's are upgraded to SP11? Or is it just for practices using CQR?
