We are on track to upgrade from cps11 to cps12 sp5 today. However, I just took a look at the sp6 spr fixes from GE. There are many which raise concerns. We are not planning on implementing the immunization html form yet, and after reading this, we will wait for sp6. But I'm wondering if it's worth it to proceed with the instability errors, possibility of a chart merge (!), etc.
Can anyone who is using sp5 comment on how often these "error occurred in class..." happen, etc. Even if you're not using sp5, what have you heard?
Thank you!
Diane
SP5 resolved zero of our stability issues thus far. Our NP are still being booted out of the application 4-9 time each today. Was a major let down after staying through the evening last night to get this patch into production....
SP5 fixed around 10 defects, SP6 is supposed to fix 40+ defects. I agree the stability is the biggest problem we have. Hopefully they will get that in the next one...

we just went live with CPS 12.0.5 this past weekend (from 10.1.3), finding lots of fun Citrix issues so far. Chasing the next service pack will be never ending. Originally our plan was to wait for 12.1 but when that was end of the year, we moved forward
Thanks for the replies. We actually went ahead with the upgrade, and it hasn't been too bad. Some registration locks, which we never experienced before, but otherwise ok.
We have about 80 computers..with a mix of citrix and thick clients.
Decided to wait until sp6 to implement the new immunization methodology based upon all the SPRs. Has anyone used the new and improved immunization wizard? Feedback appreciated.
CQR is scheduled to be installed soon too...
