I must have went through 8 pages of "signature" results and it seemed like all the same question, "patients signing forms."
What if I want our providers signing forms in CPS? I purchased a Topaz signature pad for testing but I cannot figure out an easy way for providers to sign documents within CPS.
Here is what I am trying to do. Right now all our faxes come in electronically, many of them are orders that our providers need to sign off on and annotate. I would like to send this order electronically to the provider's desktop and have them sign off on it there and annotate. If they sign off as usual it doesn't actually annotate to the PDF attachment, just the document stating who imported it into the system.
I don't want stored signatures as it isn't as secure and it could look as though it was just stamped if we constantly use the same signature. Medicare generally frowns upon that practice as well as other insurance companies. Anyone have any thoughts?
Hi Scott - Just curious if you ever found a solution for this. We are experiencing the same issue at our clinic. Thanks
unfortunately we have reverted back to printing everything...
Thanks for the prompt reply. The search continues...
