Since we upgraded to SP11 we are getting an intermittent issue that has never happened before. When a doctor goes to sign a note they get the popup "Recent changes by another user have occurred in this document. Please review the note before signing." The only option is to press "OK".
To our knowledge, no other user changed anything. There does not seem to be any way to "Review the note" like the message says and the only way we have found to sign the note is to have the doctor place the note on hold and then open it again and sign it.
We now have an example of a note that not even that works on. One of our Admins tried to sign the note and she got the same message. Each time she tries to sign it, the RX scripts print out, the message pops up and the note is not signed.
search the forum for this "SP.11 Orders Module Error" and see if it helps. Several folks talking about this problem. This one suggests signing orders in orders module instead of doing it when you sign the not.
Also have you tried CPAdmin to see if there are any locks on the chart?
We are seeing the same issue with our clinics. I have an open SR with GE on this issue. In all instances when I got a call from the clinic I would go into the update and to the medication button. I would see a med or meds with a status of "pending". I would highlight one of the pending meds and click the send/print button. This would clear the pending status and allow the provider to sign the encounter.
This worked for us, thank you for the info. It seems like SP11 introduced more bugs than it fixed.
