Has anyone noticed how slow the check boxes are on the MMSE form? I have been playing around with this and I have noticed the following. Curious if anyone has anything to add.
1. If I try the form by itself in a encounter it is very fast (To be expected I guess)
2 In an encounter with the most common CCC form (Vitals, ROS, FH-SH, PMH-PSH, HPI, CPOE, Problems, and etc.) it is noticeably slower. (Actually very slow)
3 I have tried it in an encounter with other custom forms that we use - which is several - and it remains fast.
So all I have determined is that its performance is greatly diminished when in the same encounter as other CCC forms.
Has anyone else experienced this and have you come up with a reason. (other that the obvious that I will not mention)
Thanks,
Cecil
i would suggest removing each CCC form 1 at a time (putting it back and removing the next one) and loading an encounter with each removed.
I had to do this to determine that having the CCC form "Cardiovascular Rick CCC" in an encounter caused significant performance issues in all of the other forms (in addition to causing the encounter load time to be 30 seconds)
I had actually tried this and it is a accumulation of the files that causes it. Each one makes it a bit worse and no one file has more impact than another.
i'm interested too.
Hey again.
What version of EMR are you on?
I just upgraded our test environment to 9.10 Sp1 (including the latest CCC basic patch) and it fixed our performance issue with the Cardiovascular Risk form (like majorly increased performance)
Also, if I insert the MMSE for into a huge encounter it performs well.
Support promised me performance would improve with 9.10 and it did.
We are CPS 12 sp 13. I have not loaded the 12.2 yet to see if it is resolved there. We are on the latest CCC's and patches though...
Thanks for the info...
