I am trying to understand how the super bill is supposed to work. When on a patient's chart, when on one office visit, we can click print, super bill, and preview, and it shows patient information with order information. However, on another office visit, the super bill is blank.
Does anyone know why it would be blank ? The orders were future dated, but the date has now passed, so I didn't think that had anything to do with it. Thank you !!

I suspect you may have a different superbill selected for different conditions.
Open Administration > Reports > Business Report Criteria, then double-click Superbill (I know the navigation is rather, to put it politely, "obscure").
An inexplicably tiny window that you can't resize will open showing what various conditions to use which superbills (it's been this way since CPS 2006--I'm not holding my breath for it to be improved). Scrolling to the right, you will see a column entitled "Report File." That is where the superbill layout comes from for the various conditions.
