This past week we have noticed that our many of our list names and address lines within our insurance carrier list have been modified by one of our systems.
Anytime we have duplicate list names, with different addresses, our system has added in brackets containing the CPS ID at the end of the list name.
ie: United Healthcare Utah (2334) and United Healthcare Utah (2335)
In addition, we have found that many of our addresses have been modified. In most cases, we have seen deleted zip codes and added in free text.
ie: A United Health Care Medicare Advantage plan has "GE Pensioners Fund" added before the actual PO Box for the claims address.
We believe that one of our systems has made these changes, as it is too much work for one associate. The three systems that directly push information into CPS are Unlimited, Phreesia, and Centricity EMR.
Has anyone else seen issues like this within their insurance list and been able to identify the root cause?
Our practice is on the following version of CPS:
11.1.1.138
Hello Chelsea,
Has this issue been resolved? I am not familiar with this problem occurring with our software. I see case (250618) in our system from the 6th where we were working with Alison from your practice in which she indicated that some carriers ID Numbers were being changed when a carrier was created in Centricity.
I’ve sent a separate email and copied in our Support teams email address, [email protected] as they can provide additional assistance if this problem still exists.
Regards,
Kirk

Hi Kirk,
Thanks for responding. We have determined why this happened and the issue has been resolved. My practice doesn't have an Alison, so I think the case you are referring to might be another incident. Thanks again for reaching out to help!
