Does anyone know if GE has test scripts (list of everything that should be tested after upgrade and before users start using it) for EMR 9.8?

You would contact your sales rep for a Professional Services quote for something like that. They've got support who will do anything you pay for.
We have our 'normal' upgrade list.
Test the basic functionality that didn't particularly change (ex: open Chart, Office Visit, Fax, Printing...).
Test the specific workflows and features that are new or did change (i.e. stuff in the Release Notes)
Test all the technical stuff that also gets updated (ex: Crystal Reports, Patient Portal, Citrix software installs, Document Indexing).
We'll have final checklist soon since we plan a May go-live.

Has anyone had issues that cause you concern with EMR v9.8? We've noticed the EMR throws an error and shuts down when we merge a chart. We also have the issue with the patient banner - many times it turns to MEL code (we don't use the standard banner).

I've been keeping my eye on this topic and glad to see it starting up, we're expected to upgrade in June sometime. We have been wondering/knew there had to be some issues with the fresh release. We typically have waited until the first service pack comes out after an upgrade to squish all these kind of bug like you mention above. I'm curious to see what else is going on with 9.8.

Constance, we are just now testing our forms, etc. in our EMR 9.8 test environment. Did you have those same issues in test?

Anyone figured out how Data mapping can be used to map Med-Injection OBS to the Administered Med requirement.

We are currently live with 9.8. We see most of the issues that are discussed above. There is a patch that should be released (apparently this week) that is supposed to fix some of these issues.
