Hi All,
Does anyone have any documentation on what GE is referencing in the EMR to pull the data into the transition of care export document? I cannot seem to find any documentation about that but I'm also terrible at navigating that website. We are curious about what observation terms and/or tables are referenced as we plan to heavily customize and automated this document(with Qvera) to help out our providers. In addition to that we want to make sure that the relevant fields are present on all of our forms as there has been a lot of customization of forms in the past, especially for our specialists. Finally, I'd like to be able to know exactly what flows where to I can present a full form; I cannot seem to get the assessment section populated nor can I get any care team information to pull into the care plan section (as examples).
Thanks
Mike
Mike, I know there are CBT's that go over the Transition of Care document. Our GE project manager gave us a website with a user ID and password to review them. I hope this helps!
Under Go > Setup > Settings > System > Data Mapping you will see down at the bottom of the eMeasures the GE CCDA Sections. This will help you understand what OBS terms they have assigned to each area, as well as a way to add additional ones if you have any custom ones that you are using.
Thank you both for the help, I'm going to contact our service person but the data mapping will definitely be of use as well. Could I remove some of those fields to customize it myself? Granted that is mostly hypothetical, I don't think I want to start breaking the CCDA myself just yet but I am new to the data mapping (new to GE in general).
Unfortunately the default mappings by GE you are unable to remove. You only have the ability to add additional ones. We looked into it as some things don't quite make sense like the BMI showing up in 2 places 🙂
That is annoying, we will have to move forward with our plan to have Qvera heavily edit the content. Thanks again.
We've had issue with Data Mapping. Whatever is mapped doesn't display on the CVS. We have a ticket in that they are working on.
Also, we were on a Webinar last week and several users posted in questions that TOC wasn't working. GE ignored these questions during the Webinar.
