Does anyone have any teaching materials or access to the CBT's to train staff on the patient portal?
I would like some education myself.
I was trained by GE on how to set-up the Portal from an Administration point of view, but I do not know how to train the nurses.
Please help!!!
Your GE consultant should have provided you with a user guide (screenshots) as well as a end user train the trainer session. We were provided this from GE. I would reach out to your contact and inquire on this.

Hello. What kind of portal do you have? I did the training for our group and I showed our staff what the patient sees on the portal so they felt comfortable asking questions. Then I showed them each workflow (how patients get registered, refill request, email billing, what to do when they have questions, etc). Since each portal is typically unique, I don't think you will find many CBT's.
We are using the GE patient portal.
Who was your GE contact for the set up?
