I am just wondering if anyone else has had issues with building the Multifactorial fxn in CPS 12. I've built and tested about 20 functions, but now when I try to add another I am getting an error that completely crashes the database. After saving the text file, closing CPS and re-launch the application, I am getting the error: "EMR login failed for an unknown reason. Wait a moment and try again. If this condition persists, please see your System Administrator" But of course the condition does persist, and the System Admin has no idea what is wrong. This seems to only be a problem if ANY text is added to the document translation field on the last tab of the Multifactorial fxn editor. If there is no document translation - no error. But even adding the word "test" caused the error to be triggered.
Any ideas?
I'm looking to see if my system does the same. I'm using the Multifactorial fx builder form and I don't see a translation field. Are you talking about the "Text to be returned" box?
Exactly, when we enter anything in that field at all, it causes the system to crash. We actually have already written about 20 or so functions and they worked just fine. I'm not sure if there is a limit on the number of functions that can be used? But I know working with other versions of Centricity the number of functions has not been an issue.
Have you checked your file size? If it is over 60KB that could be your problem.
Hmm, that could be an issue - I will check. Thanks.
Looks like that is the most likely problem. Would you know if there is a way to add additional text files for this? I'm not clear on it and the reference material from GE does not really address this issue.
#1 make a copy of your file before you try to do this. We don't use CCC basic anymore, but I believe you can copy your file, rename it and ad a -2 on the end of it. Then you would clear out all of your duplicated functions inside that form. You may want to take your last function that put you over and cut it to the new file. If that doesn't work, then I know GE can walk you through it. I hope that helps. Initial file name: EXAMPLE: CCCQE-User-Edit-Multifunctions.txt additional file name CCCQE-User-Edit-Multifunctions-2.txt
Hmm, I tried that but it looks like I may have not have gotten the file name quite right. I'll check this out now. Thank you so much!
Your file name may not look like mine. Your may just say CCC-User-Edit-Multifunction.
No, has CCCQE but that didn't work. It didn't crash the system, but would read the functions either.
