We are not always able to add a potential diagnosis to a lab order - it will work sometimes and other times it will not
Has anyone else had this issue?

There is a fluke where if you are ordering a lab for a patient in the Orders module, and the patient has no active problems on their problem list, and you try to use the functionality where you uncheck the box that says "add to patients problem list", the potential diagnoses will not add to the lab order. it will appear that the Dx code for that order is blank, but it will allow you to sign it. Is this the scenario you are encountering? let me know if you need details and/or screenshots. 🙂
We had this issue after installing SP10 in EMR 9.8 and GE has yet to send out a fix for us. This was submitted 9/30/2015! Have your site added to SPR 61846. "Problems added within orders module that are not to be added to patient's problem list do not allow you to add the potential diagnosis to the chart/order."
