We recently migrated to a hosted environment with TrueNorth and are using the cloud-based Dragon Medical One. Do any of you have laptops/tablets in this environment that work well?
Current concerns are: cost, liability, performance.

We tried using Ipads when we transitioned to EMR, owner of practice purchased over 15 Ipads for the office but with Centricity EMR it was way to complicated to use Ipads!

Our providers have used Lenovo Thinkpads and Dell Latitudes laptops because we were told all workstations needed a full processor and OS. However, the only function processed by the local client is scanning which our non-physician staff handle. Our newest doc is using an older MacBook Air with Microsoft's RDP app and loves it.
