Is there anyway to have the undefined medications populate with what they are. So for example; ACZONE 5 % GEL apply twice daily to face for acne 1 x 5 $9.01, has an undefined quantity. In the custom list if you put Applicator behind or in front of the numerical value it will populate but then you get an error because it doesn't recognize the numeric value anymore. In Centricity since there is no GEL in the drop down it isn't recognized. Any thoughts?
This problem has reared its ugly head in our practice. The bottom line from an operational standpoint, is that the medication must be coded. Without doing so, there are a variety of random errors: unsigned clinical list changes, user making changes to security settings, document opened at different workstation. These issues appear new to SP11.
