Good morning, Does anyone know of a vendor that sells the small thermal ePrescribing printers that have a lock on them and they can be connected via Ethernet instead of USB? We use to use the ones below but want to get away from USB cables. Its been hard to find these with locks on them. Thanks Peg

Star makes a model that has Ethernet instead of USB.
This is the one we use:
TSP847II (STR_T-001)
Star TSP 847IIE3-24 Receipt printer - two-color - direct thermal - Roll (4.1 in) - 203 dpi -
up to 425.2 inch/min - 10/100Base-TX
My understanding was that the different interfaces on these units were simply removable cards so you might be able to order Ethernet cards for the printers you already have.
We have also had good luck with Buffalo USB to Ethernet print servers to connect USB label makers to the network.
