Unless I miss my guess, if memory serves all that is involved in an upgrade of the eSM console is to make a request on the console itself. Can someone please verify this for me?
Go to https://engage.gehealthcare.com/community/en/emr/eprescribing at the very bottom of the page.
In the newer versions you can request the upgrade from eSm, I cannot remember what version this starts with.
If an update for eSM is available, when you login to eSM on the home page you will see a message under "Surescripts Notifications" that an update is ready. It will give you the current version and the available update version.
You simply click on "Schedule Update" and your system will automatically be placed in the queue to run the update that same night. No other action is required.
