has GE not addressed this issue yet? we are having awful performance all morning With 40 GB of archive created so far today (since midnight) and still going, only having seen about 25 patients.
Any advice, or anyone else still having problems like this?

We are freighted with them, as well. I was contacted by ONE GE rep only to ask for our company short name-- last week-- not a peep since, and the error flags are piling up. What gives?

Funny they warn you during a kB update you need 12 gB of archive space but will hammer you with 50 GB on a Monday morning with no warning
looks like our formulary update might have finally ended..... judging by archive log and vmware datastore performance.
of course i put in a call to support that got no where... oh really, actions are taking 10 seconds... i am sorry.
yes we have our schedule set to not update formularies in the middle of the day, but if they don't finish, they keep running.... and crush your system.... GE doesn't care.
44.7 GB of Archive log in 22 hours.... but hey, make sure you have that 12 GB available when running a knowledge base update.

nope, getting some more once our schedule kicked at midnight... suppose i will spend all night seeing if it finished so I can set expectations on performance in the AM. who designs this stuff? never would be acceptable where i consult.
Finally stopped. GE says it is normal. Still not going to fix it or change it in any way.
