I am wondering if any other clinics out there are having a hard time with the new HTML prescription form in the 12.2 upgrade. Our clinic is finding that it takes loner to do a refill by about 20 clicks. When trying to do a refill in an office visit it is very cumbersome. You have to pick the pharmacy each time when the old form remembered and defaulted to the last time, this form does not do that which adds time. Also if you prescribed controlled substances it would default to print and fax, this form does not. It seems like simple things that helped out are now turned into taxing things. You have to pick a med then scroll across the screen to edit and save when before you could just click down the list of meds and refill all at the same time, now it is one by one and scrolling back and forth. Is anyone else having this much of an issue, it is driving our providers crazy. If anyone is having these issues have you found any work arounds that make it easier for refills. TIA

Our clinics are so over this new HTML form. We have been experiencing so many issues since upgrading to 12.2
We are CPS and have mixture of fat clients and thin clients. Staff complain of the prescriptions being blank when they click on them to process the request - they have no idea which medication they need to refill; even when I look up the request on the eScript console and the staff fill the prescription the request doesn't get removed from the provider desktop; refilling inside the office visit the providers have to click the refill button to populate the meds in the note of the visit; constantly have to pick the provider and the pharmacy is an issue our end users complain of; they pick print then give to patient and the prescription attempts to fax so we have had to manually flip the printer on the fly. We have several cases open with our VAR and GE. I keep hearing defect and SPR's but nothing really solid to relay back to my providers. We are waiting for a script that will remove the processed scripts from the providers desktop and there just aren't that many workarounds. I am curious if there are workarounds that make this new form easier to use.
Sadly the new form is pestering our organization as well. We have several tickets and have submitted several enhancement requests.
I don't think we have discovered any work around's that are suitable but I wanted to comment on your scrolling issue. We had several providers with this issue on our newer laptops (which sadly almost all providers are using), but if you go to "Start" and type "Make text and others items larger or smaller" then select "Smaller - 100%" and log out/back in, it should help. You will likely have to adjust the screen resolution as well as this change will make text MUCH smaller on the screen.
As of now we have almost all of our providers functioning with these display settings and it has completely resolved any scrolling issues when trying to edit medications etc.
Hopefully this helps you a little!
We are planning to go to CPS 12.2 with SP2 based on information we got at C LIVE. Does anyone know if these specific issues are addressed by SP2? Or maybe in 12.3?
We just recently upgraded to 12.3 sp 2 and it has come to my attention that meds that are cancelled are showing in our A&P form in our New Prescriptions section. I'm using LISTRXNEW for that field so any ideas what I can do to keep 'Cancelled' meds from being listed. I will be putting in a case with Virence as well but thought I would reach out to CHUG first thinking someone might have already come across this.
Thanks,
Linda
