I have a provider who wanted 2 large multi-edit boxes to document in. He emailed me late last week that he is getting null error messages usually when he fills the first box up and he has to go to the next edit field. He also indicated that CPS has crashed several times as well and he suspects it has something to do with this as well.
Any suggestions on how to track this down and possibly remedy it?
Thanks for any assistance anyone can give.
Linda
Hi Linda,
A couple ideas:
1) Does your provider get the error message all the time? Or do they get the message only when using the second box? In other words, is there any specific workflow that triggers this?
2)Once you have an idea about any specific workflow that causes the problem run a mel trace and make the form break. Press contol-alt-M to start and stop the trace. This will give you an idea what the form is doing, particularly right before it breaks. You can troubleshoot it from there. The log for the mel trace can be found at: \Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Centricity\Logs\TraceMel.log
I hope that helps.

Well, I just got the error. I have my mel trace but I am not sure what to look for exactly. I expected the error to be at the end of the file but I'm not so sure. Can you tell me what I need to look for exactly?
If it would help, here is the Mel Trace log. I had to zip it in order to attach it to the post.
Thanks for any help you can give.
