I am able to access my clinic remote desktop with Windows 10 and all applications will open with the exception of CPS 12. It has come up on occasion but nothing reliable. I typically will get a connection to the website but the login screen comes up as a very small box without the entry fields for username and password. There is no ability to maximize this screen. Is this a known problem? Any fix? I've tried compatability view settings and to resize icons but this has not worked. As I previously stated it has worked on 1-2 occasions out of about 30 tries now.
What version of Server are you using for RDP?
I'm a little bit of a computer illiterate so where would I find the information as to what type of server? I'll see if I can get a hold of our IT personnel to help me with that part of it. They cannot seem to find an answer to my overall question however. I know it's not an absolute problem however because I've been able to access it on two separate occasions but my icons all look very different. All of the icons on the desktop are very small but when I access CPS it comes up regular size. When the icons are normal size I can't access it. Not sure if this helps but I thought I would mention it.
I'm a bit confused about the reference to icon sizes, but then you mention being connected to a website with no fields for username or password.
When CPS opens, it opens a URL in Internet Explorer. It must be Internet Explorer. If you have set another browser as a default, CPS will never start -- well, unless you have set up a plugin like IE Tab, but that's beyond the scope of the reply.
IIRC, I don't believe you can use the Edge browser (i.e. the browser formerly known as Internet Explorer), but honestly, I'm not totally up-to-date on which versions of IE work and don't work with CPS.
IE launches the cpopm06.exe process, which is the process that prompts for username, password, and location of care. There is another related process, mbcexec.exe. I'm not really sure what it does.
Screenshots may help.
