I posted this about 3 months ago on Linked In in the "Can GE Centricity Do That" group. I got a few responses, but someone suggested I try here as well.
Would like to know your support model i.e., EMR Manager, analysts, support desk, training, content development, decision support and so on.
It would be helpful to know the #providers #patients and #staff that are supported (ballparks are fine).
Then the # of support positions by type, title and FTE.
We are in the process of re-evaluating our model and I would be more than willing to share what we decide on.

2 FTE IT staff handle everything pertaining to IT for the company.

- 7 doctors
- 9 audiologists (mid-level provider)
- 150 workstations/devices (PCs, laptops, tablets)
We have two FTE IT staff and a FTE RN who does our EMR templates, MU, HIPAA, Compliance, training OSHA etc.
3 locations (plus a subsidiary Ambulatory Care business with about 12 additional employees)
~ 125 employees
9 doctors (Neurosurgery, Neurology, Pain Management)
7 mid level providers
~ 130 Windows workstations, 10 laptops, 20 iOS devices
