Position Summary:
The EHR Systems Support Analyst 2 provides support for electronic medical record (EHR) system including overseeing the efficient project management of the system with the goal of translating clinical needs into technical solutions. This position will be responsible for coordinating maintenance and support of the EMR system, form development, conducting on-going and new employee training, assessing the skills necessary to function as an employee in the EHR system, consultation and collaboration with members of the nursing leadership and information technology teams to meet deadlines, identifying strengths and weaknesses of each department in relation to EHR, and completing activities associated with system updates and conversions as appropriate. In addition, this position will report to the Director of Systems Integration and Development and work closely with leadership, nursing staff, and physicians to ensure standardized process and workflow as well as clinical application adoption for the electronic medical record system. The EHR Systems Support Analyst 2 is responsible for meeting deadlines, managing projects and tasks associated from tickets, direct requests and company initiatives governed by the Director of Systems Integration and Development.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provides seamless customer service support to EHR users within the organization including, but not limited to the following:
- Provides front-line support for end user issues with accessing and completing services in EMR.
o Provides training of staff in systems required to provide input or output to/from the EMR including new hire orientation, on-site training, and training support during system upgrades, etc.
o Develops training manuals, FAQs, and other training documentation for distribution.
- Develops and maintains EHR related forms in an accurate and timely manner.
- Continual develop EHR forms through Visual Form Editor software and CCC content.
- Manages and maintains the Medfusion portal system.
- Facilitates user support of the E-Prescribe electronic prescription system.
- Provides ongoing maintenance and user support of DocuSign electronic consent system.
- Develops and implements Quick texts and document formatting such as orders, medications, handouts, and letters.
- Manage and maintain all documented workflows.
- Creates and coordinates GE reports.
o Routinely meets with nursing leadership and nursing team members for solutions and to understand workflow and future needs, implement changes, and complete process improvement.
o Provides EMR related help desk support. Uses support ticket system to document and track end user needs and troubleshoot issues remotely or in person.
- Seeks opportunities for additional responsibilities and growth within organization. Shows initiative and enthusiasm in suggesting and implementing new concepts and/or ideas for improvement.
o These areas include IT Support and troubleshooting, project management, system design and implementation.
- May perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

- Receives necessary ongoing cross training in other information technology team responsibilities as appropriate.
Physical Requirements and Working Environment:
- This is a full-time position based in LoneTree, Colorado; local travel is required. Normal hours include planning time, consultation with staff locally and in satellite locations and educational activities.
- Working evenings and weekends may be required occasionally to perform the tasks outlined in the job description.
- Travel by personal auto, charter or commercial aircraft is required with reimbursement for personal auto use provided by the company policy according to the IRS policy.

Education and Work Experience Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree preferred. Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Health Information Technology or similar field. Two years’ experience working in healthcare informatics required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working with EHR systems and their interdependencies.
- Strong working knowledge of an EHR system. Minimum of two years’ experience in diversified healthcare information technology support required.
- Demonstration of strong independent judgment and initiative required.
- Task oriented, strong attention to detail required. Demonstrated high level of organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to switch from task to task without losing focus. Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines.
- Proficiency in the use of computer equipment and software, including but not limited to, Windows environment (Word, Excel, Outlook – Intermediate to Advanced skills) required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team required.
