Job Summary:
The EMR Support Specialist role is responsible for providing clinical technology support for our various divisions (medical practices). This role requires strong analytical ability, an ability to handle multiple priorities, and excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be a strong independent worker. Flexibility, professionalism, problem solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment are crucial for this role.

Location: Corporate office in Melville, NY with minimal remote work.
Hours : 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evenings and weekends.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Assist Manager of Clinical Technology with the ongoing maintenance of the GE Centricity EMR Product and subsequent interfaced devices.
- Assist in system clean up and daily maintenance.
- Design, maintain, and revise clinical tables, master files, screen menus, etc.
- Assist with special “out-of-the-box” technologically innovative and clinically forwarded project.
- Some night and weekend remote support may be required.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Experience and Education:
- Associates degree minimum requirement
- Medical industry experience required.
- Understanding of clinical workflows within an EMR required. GE Centricity EMR experience a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel required.
