Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic celebrates 100 years of serving patients in Wake County and surrounding area. Our multi-specialty practice is comprised of 25 physicians and 23 mid-level providers.
We have a newly created position after transitioning to GE EHR in September 2018. This position will serve as a liaison between our Clinical Departments, IT Department, and Practice Administration in our large/multi-site Orthopaedic Practice.
Full-Time Position - Edwards Mill Road Office - Raleigh, NC - Position reports to Chief Operations Officer. Maintain and enhance electronic medical records software functionality through continuous process of support, development and training. Provides best practice IT approach solutions and consultative support services, assisting in realizing the full potential of the EHR solutions. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and design and implement improvement plans of action. Strong communication skills, experience with implementation and optimization of an EHR system, and the ability to effectively consult with individuals and small teams are required.
Job Requirements include:
- 2+ years experience in a Healthcare setting. Physician practice is preferred.
- 2+ years experience providing EHR education to physicians
- 3+ years experience in customer service setting with proven oral and written communication skills.
- Experience supporting large scale user clinical environments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, healthcare, medical technology or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Centricity Practice Solutions®, Centricity EMR® or Visual Form Editor
- Proficiency with MS Office Toolset (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
- Experience working with ticketing/incident management systems
- Experience using report writing tools &/or writing advanced queries.
