System Application Analyst –Electronic Health Records
We are a market leader in physician billing and practice support services and we are currently seeking qualified and experienced applicants in support of our expanding operations in the South Chicago Metropolitan Area.
The System Application Analyst provides application and reporting analytical support for varied GE Centricity EMR/EHR. The Analyst is responsible for having a thorough working knowledge of related application functions. Must be able to work effectively with staff and management in determining the most effective and efficient means of utilizing the computer system.
This position requires: a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or Healthcare preferred or the equivalent combination of education and experience; three or more years of functional experience in GE Centricity EMR or GE Centricity Practice Solutions is required; additional experience with Centricity Business/IDX, BAR, TES, ETM, EMR, DBMS, Web Frameworks, Crystal Report Writing and other supporting business applications is a plus; demonstrated experience in systems or workflow analysis and documentation and the implementation of complex software products; excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to work independently and as a member of a team and with users, management and staff; . The Candidate must have strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
Job Functions:
- Maintains and supports GE Centricity EMR;
- Supports GE Centricity EMR users;
- Supports third party modules such as ePrescribe, scanning, faxing, and government registries;
- Supports daily interface operations by working line items and errors within Link Logic;
- Supports EMR scanning functions;
- Running daily reports that have a set schedule;
- Executing scripts or canned reports on an ad hoc basis;
- Maintains application’s master files;
- Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction with clients, internal and external;
- Effectively communicate the status of tasks/projects and ensure timely and quality delivery of all deliverables;
- Support application tasks as needed;
