We would like to have a visual confirmation on the provider desktop on chart in progress that have orders not signed. Maybe a column added for orders status?
In our workflow the physicians will complete orders and instructions’ 1st – so when the patient arrives at check out the orders can be retrieved, f/u appointment, instructions are printed to check out printer and we can can complete the visit. We suggest you just add an extra column on the desk top for orders status– they system could have orders status – such as in process, signed, completed (when exported to PM).
