Looking for information on setting up 2FA for RDS and centricity? I'm looking at Azure 2FA and Duo. If you can share your experiences, that would be appreciated. Thanks!
Have only used RSA but it's rock sold in it's integration with RDS. Originally had a stand alone appliance then migrated to VM appliances. It is costly though..
Thanks for the reply. What is the cost like?
10 pack of user license is ~900
But then you need to auth them so a 10 pack of 3 year hardware tokens is $590, 10 Software tokens is $488.70 this was a while ago and just the first quote I had at hand.. I don't remember on support, I was thinking it was another $300.
So software is nice because they can never lose the token (or have an employee walk off with one), but I "think" they just updated the app to do more than one software token.. before you could only have one and our Dr's have access to a lot of systems with RSA and wanted all software tokens and it was a no-go. Some Dr's don't like software as they can't see the key when they are on the phone and trying to log in.
Distributing the software was a bit of a pain in the past but the new process works out pretty well.
Would some thing like Authy for iphone work with RSA?
I wouldn't think so, they are proprietary but there are a lot of open 2FA companies out there.
That's a little pricey. For a 100 users license, it would cost roughly $15k for 3 years. I don't know much about RSA, maybe they have way more features than I needed but I think Azure 2FA is good enough for us. They cost about $1.40 per user/month, roughly $140/month per 100 users.
Anyone familar with Azure 2FA?
