Hi (again),
Is anyone using a 3rd party vendor to write interfaces such as other EHRs to Centricity EHR (data conversions) labs, etc.
If so, please send contact information.
Thanks,
Alicia
We've had fairly positive results using Liason (formerly Ignis) for a couple of lab interfaces.
We have used Liason for a bidirectional interface to Labcorp and have been very happy with it. It is very powerful.
For all our other interfaces, I have built them myself. I have also done a handful of interfaces for other clinics on a contract basis. I don't work for GE or anything, but I have done quite a few of them and charge ALOT less than GE does. Typical interfaces (if you pay GE) cost around $5000 per side. So if you wanted to set up an interface to another EMR, it would cost you $5000 for the GE side of the interface, and another $5000 for the other side.
Qvera has a great tool for this. We use it to import and export to MANY systems. You might talk with them.
If you just want electronic interfaces with labs, Liaison (formerly Ignis) and their EMR-Link system is very good too as Alicia mentioned.
