With all things happening, it is possible that our clinic will not be able to have the infrastructure in place for v19 or v20 by the end of the year but we have to have AUC. Haven't heard this relaxed yet at this point from a requirement and was wondering if anyone has heard of any stand alone solutions that we could short term implement if needed?

We have been planning on using the standalone web tool from National Decision Support. The plan is to capture the code in the comments of the order which will be printed on the requisition.
Our hospital serves a wide community of ambulatory physicians including independent groups that don't use our instance of Centricity so a stand-alone solution was always going to be a requirement (impact to hospital is far greater than impact to ordering physician).
We are monitoring AUC and EPCS requirements with the hope that CMS will delay the mandate due to COVID-19 hardships. I don't anticipate the conversation swaying to 1/1/21 requirements until July at the earliest. As a result we have to plan like v20 will need to be implemented before the end of the year.
