Wondering if anyone out there has a solution to print patient addresses to a Dymo LabelWriter 450.
We have a couple of these printers that we use to create patient identifiers for specimens (from a crystal report) but I do not have a license to edit the report to get the address.
Ideally it would make sense to print the patient's address while in the patient chart, as the staff index the form being mailed then append the note to document.
Thanks, chuggers!
So the only way I know that we can print from the pt chart is to edit the mailing address report (addlbs.rpt - found in the crwrpts folder within Centricity folder). GE said there was no way to import a custom report into that area - unless someone else has found a way. We do have another label in custom reports but have to type in patient name so kind of clunky. We did edit ours to use as specimen label which I could send you. We use zebra printers. In Citrix it only worked with the printer as a local printer because it wouldn't retain the label size otherwise but maybe you'll have better luck. I responded to a different post a while back and someone there answered they used dynamo printers so maybe you could reach out to them - link below. Thanks. Jen
You can actually do this using their software, if you create a template and get the data from sql, you can then get what you need. Or a custom interface to create the label to print.
