We are in the process of installing CPS 12.0.2 and unable to get the advanced specificity searching to work. When we search for a Dx we get the error message that we cannot connect. We have the functionality turned on and I had my site support guys verify that firewall settings. Any other thoughts? Is anyone successfully using this functionality?
We have been unsuccessful in getting this to work in our system with the same error message. This is what GE told us, but it leaves our sys admin guys scratching their heads, as they had never heard the term "white-listed" before:
"The scoop is…..I have found another customer who was facing the same error message. Their SITETYPE value was already correct (20) the same as yours. So what we had them do next was check two things:
- To make sure the Web Filter was not blocking traffic to https://ge1.healthlanguage.com/le-services-342/soap/query in their Trusted Sites setup.
- To make sure their Firewall was not blocking traffic to https://ge1.healthlanguage.com/le-services-342/soap/query .
For this particular client, their Trusted Sites Web Filter was not blocking the Advanced Search site but the Firewall was. So they white-listed the URL in the firewall and it resolved the problem."
We have been successfully using this feature since the install. Just wanted you to know that it should work.
