Does anyone else receive emails when you are subscribed to a question for posts that you add a reply to? If I reply to a post (enables updates to be sent to my email), then later reply again, I get an email stating that the topic was updated with my second reply. I know it has been updated, I updated it...
Yeah I have the same thing happen to me. I think it is just set up to alert you when ANY updates are made to a topic. it probably just doesn't have the logic set up to check if you updated it, or if it was me, or someone else.
I usually just delete it and move on (although I sometimes get my hopes up that someone answered that quickly haha.) but it would be a nice future upgrade to the site.
I feel as though this is a battle that has gone on since the dawn of the new website design.
Yes, I receive them, even if I'm the one who posted the response. I think it is more of an "unexpected behavior" than a bug. I think it was just easier for the programmer to respond to any user that requests notifications when something new gets posted to a forum post and not exclude the user that authored the post. I suppose if it worked as expected, the OCD users would complain. 🙂
Thanks for the feedback, I'll see what we can do to address that.

Also - can anyone tell me how to view all the responses in sequential order (based on time of reply)...I have a hard time figuring out which response to read after the initial question. Thanks.
@burnsh Sure right below the question there is a sort by date or votes.
Thank you!! It was right there the whole time; I just didn't see it.
