Hello CHUG,
I upgraded from CPS 12.0.8 to 12.0.10 Friday evening 9/11 and would like to report some good news for a change.
1) Our new issue list is only 6 items. 3 of which were self-created IT issues which were easily resolved and of 2 of the remaining 3 we knew we were going to have before the upgrade. For reference my issue list is normally 25+ issues long.
2) My Monday was a regular 8 hour day. Normally post upgrades are 12 to 14 or more hour days because of the amount of new issues.
3) I’ve been comparing the amount of fatal errors in the error log table to the level we were at under SP8. I know it’s only been 4 days but so far we are tracking a 40% reduction in crashing.
Don't get me wrong GE still has PLENTY of work to do but at least for my group SP10 was a step in the right direction.
You must have gotten lucky then. Our med admin form no longer shows any lot numbers unless you manage lots and update each medication. Our problem list was working fine on Saturday when we all left, came in Monday morning and users were no longer able to search for problems. All the codes had been wiped out so we had to add each letter individually which only took about 2 hours, but this didn't happen in our test environment, so we had no reason to think it would happen with our prod upgrade.
