Anyone on CPS 12 using CQR whose e-RX (Core 2) reports low? I have drilled down to the Unmet patients to troubleshoot. The correct "Auth by" provider is correct, the method is "electronic" and the "signed by" is the CMA or RN/LPN/NP not the MD signing the note.
Just wondering if it because the note is not signed by the MD or if it is the actual report?
Thanks!
At CHUG, I was able to talk to a GE eRx person (Rachel Hiatt) about this - she mentioned there was a problem with artificially low numbers for this measure partly due to the formulary aspect of the measure being a "bug" with Surescripts formulary. They are working on it apparently because they know it is an issue.
Same issue in CPS 12 The SPR is 61323
We have the same problem, I did a roundtable with GE. DVI1501 is correct. This is supposed to be fixed in the next release, along with several other reports that are reporting low. This one will only count a patient as "Met" if the Insurance eligibility is returned as "ok" or green. All patients that the eligibility returns yellow or red will not count as "met". They should count as long as an eligibility request was sent, regardless of the result of the inquiry.I don't know when this new release is coming, but I have several reports that I am waiting to rerun.
